Questions & Answers

Everything you
want to know.

Honest answers to the questions most people are thinking but haven’t asked yet.

About the Work

What actually happens
in a session?

You’ll lie on the adjusting table. Dr. Ben uses gentle, precise touches — called contacts — along specific points of the spine, typically at the neck and sacrum. These contacts are light; this is not cracking or forceful manipulation.

What those contacts do is help your nervous system develop new strategies for releasing tension it has been holding. Many people notice their breath deepening, their body softening, or a wave of relaxation moving through them during or after a session. Others notice shifts over the following day or two.

The touches are much gentler. The goal reaches further. Where traditional care often targets a specific complaint, Network Spinal works with the whole system — which is why patients frequently report changes that extend well beyond their original reason for coming in.

Network Spinal uses gentle, light-force contacts. There is no forceful manipulation, no cracking, and no high-velocity thrusting. The touches are intentional and precise, but they are light enough that many people are surprised by how much shifts from so little force.

Dr. Ben does also practice traditional chiropractic techniques and may integrate them where appropriate — but the foundation of care here is Network Spinal’s gentle approach.

Your nervous system develops patterns over time — ways of responding to stress, holding tension, and allocating energy. Many of those patterns were formed in response to experiences that are long past, but the nervous system kept running them anyway.

Reorganization means the nervous system develops new, more resourceful strategies. The old patterns of bracing, guarding, and staying in high-alert begin to shift. The body starts to use energy more efficiently. People describe this as feeling lighter, more present, more themselves — often before they can explain why.

Is This For Me?

Honest answers
for real questions.

Back pain is a completely legitimate reason to come in, and Network Spinal has a strong track record with it. You do not need to be on a spiritual journey or interested in anything beyond feeling better physically.

That said — in our experience, most back pain has more going on underneath it than just a mechanical issue. The nervous system is involved. Stress is involved. We start where you are and follow what’s there.

We’d invite you to come in for a session, describe what you’ve tried, and let Dr. Ben give you an honest assessment of whether this approach is likely to help. If it’s not the right fit, he’ll say so.

Yes. Because Network Spinal uses gentle, light-force contacts, it is well suited to both children and older patients. The approach adapts to where the person is — there is no one-size-fits-all adjustment. Dr. Ben has worked with patients across a wide range of ages and will tailor care appropriately.

The first session is a conversation. Dr. Ben will ask about what brought you in, what your body has been experiencing, and what you’re hoping for. He’ll assess your nervous system and spine, and give you a clear, honest picture of what he sees and what care here would look like.

There is no pressure. You’ll leave with a real understanding of whether this is the right fit — and if it is, what the path forward looks like.

Deep Dives

Accelerated care,
amplified change.

A Deep Dive is a 50-minute session designed to create an accelerated rate of change — layering multiple techniques to work with both the nervous system and the body’s deeper energy system simultaneously. Where a regular session opens a door, a Deep Dive walks through it.

A regular Network Spinal session focuses on the spine and nervous system through precise, gentle contact. A Deep Dive does that — and goes further. It draws on additional techniques to access the body’s energy system directly, working at a level that a standard session doesn’t always have time to reach.

The result tends to be a deeper release, a more pronounced shift in awareness, and changes that can feel less like incremental progress and more like a genuine reorganization.

Deep Dives are open to anyone — whether you’re brand new to this work or a long-term patient looking to accelerate your progress. They’re especially well-suited for people navigating a major transition, carrying chronic stress or anxiety, or who feel like something significant is ready to move but hasn’t yet.

Yes. Virtual Deep Dives are available and surprisingly powerful. The work accesses the body’s energy system in ways that don’t require physical proximity to be effective — something that continues to be one of the most common things people are astonished by after their first virtual session.

Virtual Deep Dives are conducted over video and follow the same 50-minute format. All you need is a quiet space where you can lie down comfortably and be fully present.
